Norfolk County, England partnered with Norfolk in 1976. With a population of over 700,000, Norfolk county is located in the southeaster part of England known as East Anglia. It is a picturesque, rural county, famous for its quaint villages and medieval churches. Besides numerous seaside resorts long its North Seas coast, Norfolk has a unique group of inland lakes and waterways. Agriculture and tourism are important facets of its economy. The capital of Norfolk county is the ancient city of Norwich, located approximatley 100 miles northeast of London.
